Debbie McFadden has been on-air in the Quad Cities for over thirty years. And before you assume that she probably likes to make senior special dinner reservations in her spare time, consider that she got her start in the radio business at the tender age of 13. So 4:30 Early Bird dinners aren't part of her lifestyle. Not yet, anyway.

Growing up in Savanna, Illinois, Debbie was an athlete, scholar, and all-around smarty pants. Looking to get the teenager out of the house, her mother introduced Debbie to the local radio station manager who needed a part-timer to sign-on the 5,000 watt WCCI-FM every Sunday morning. McFadden took the job before realizing that it actually meant she would have to get up at 5 in the morning on the weekend. So that began a broadcasting career that has always been fun, challenging, and most importantly - caffeinated!

Like many of you, Classic Rock music has been the soundtrack of her life. Just some of her favorite artists include Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, U2, The Police, and Sting.

As for her personal life, Debbie lives in Davenport and loves Jesus, the Chicago Cubs, and rock music. Her favorite thing to do is to simply enjoy quiet time at home hanging with her favorite people which are her husband Matt, and son, Michael. But Debbie's best friend and true constant companion is a little white dog named Rocco.

Listen to Debbie McFadden rockin' your workday 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays on Classic Rock Q 106.5.
