Folks from all across the QCA are working to make sure EVERY child has a present this Christmas. ABATE of Iowa - District 15 and the USMC Reserves will have their 34th Annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle Run on Sunday, October 7th.
The event will kick off at 11am at the Wal-Mart on West Kimberly in Davenport, Iowa. The ride will leave at 1pm and will end at the old Hobby Lobby parking lot in Bettendorf. The admission is one new toy per person. The toys must be visible on the bike. No stuffed animals due to health issues. We are asking everyone to NOT throw candy because this is a safety issue.
This year we will have Gerald Steinke as the Grand Marshall for the 34th Annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle Run. He has dedicated his life to ABATE of Iowa. He was a former District Coordinator for ABATE of Iowa District 15 and worked hard to get this event started in this area.
No child should wake up on Christmas without a toy! Come on out on Sunday, October 7th and support the ride! You don't have to have a bike, we will be collecting toys at the start and end of the ride.
