DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Officials with the City of Davenport have announced plans to build a Costco store in the Quad Cities.
According the the city's Facebook page, a public meeting is scheduled on May 4 at 6 pm at the Eastern Avenue Library, 6000 Eastern Ave.
The announcement says the proposed site of the store is west of Fire Station No. 8 on the north side of East 53rd Street. The site is roughly 17 acres of land.
Personally, I think this is very exciting! I've been wishing a Costco would come to our area for years! Woo Hoo!
