Aaron Rodgers Wants Lambeau Fans To Link Arms Tonight

It seems like we just stopped talking about the NFL’s Week Three National Anthem protests and it’s time to start talking about week 4.

And I don’t mean Sunday, I mean tonight when Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers tackle the Chicago Bears.

And while Rogers doesn’t plan on tackling any Bears himself, he is looking to lock arms with a few of them.

Rogers has said he and his Packer teammates want fans at Lambeau Field for tonight's game against the Chicago Bears to join them in linking arms during the national anthem.

But make no mistake, Rodgers doesn’t view this as a protest.

"This is about equality," Rodgers says. "This is about unity and love and growing together as a society and starting a conversation around something that may be a little bit uncomfortable for people.”

It sounds as if all the players will participate after they held a meeting to discuss it.

Rodgers called the team meeting about it "fantastic."

Of course, it probably helps that they came from behind to steal an overtime win from the still winless Bengals Sunday.

Otherwise, I’m sure there would have been a different word to describe the meeting.
