A shop in Cleveland is happy to have one of its prized possessions back. The Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop fell victim to thievery, when some popcorn-loving hooligan swiped their 70-pound popcorn ball. The ball was dyed red, white, and blue because…well, it’s American!
The ball was created for a New Year’s Eve ball drop, and was due to be auctioned off this week. When it was stolen, the shop owner asked that it be returned undamaged, and there would be no questions asked and no charges filed.
Fortunately, the ball bandits saw the light, and bounced the ball back to the rightful owner. BTW – the estimated auction value for a 70-pound ball of popcorn? Around $700. Source: ABC News
