Seattle Mariners Offer Chapulines At The Ballpark


Peanuts, popcorn and grasshoppers? Baseball parks are always trying to come up with new cuisine ideas. This season the Mariners are selling a type of toasted grasshopper tossed in a lime and chili salt.  The insects are provided by a local Mexican restaurant and the ball team seems surprised by the popularity of the crunchy treats. A 4 oz cup of roasted grasshoppers goes for $4.00.
