Looking For Fireworks This Weekend? I've Got The List

If you’re looking to celebrate the 4th of July, there are a few opportunities to enjoy the festivities and fireworks! Thanks to my friends at KWQC-TV 6, here's the list...

ILLINOIS:

  • Colona: The city of Colona will hold its celebrations on June 26 at dark.
  • East Moline:The city of East Moline will be celebrating independence day on Saturday, July 3 at the River Bend Park. The parade will take place on July 4 starting at 1 p.m. from 3rd Street to 15th Avenue.Click here to read more.
  • Galva:Galva Freedom Fest fireworks display July 4th at dusk, at the Galva Park District 213 SE 6th St.
  • Geneseo:Geneseo Fireworks Show on July 2nd at dusk, at Richmond Hill 600 H K Robinson Dr.Click here to read more.
  • Oquawka:July 2nd Fireworks 8 p.m. North 8th & Knox Street. July 3rd parade 10 a.m., 5.p.m. tractor pull
  • Rock Island:The cities of Davenport and Rock Island are hosting Red, White, and Boom once again. It’s the largest fireworks display in the Quad Cities shot from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River.
    • Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 3. Spectators will be able to enjoy the show from Schwiebert Park in Rock Island, or Quinlan Court, Modern Woodmen Park, and LeClaire Park.

IOWA:

  • Davenport:The cities of Davenport and Rock Island are hosting Red, White, and Boom once again. It’s the largest fireworks display in the Quad Cities shot from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River.
    • Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 3. Spectators will be able to enjoy the show from Schwiebert Park in Rock Island, or Quinlan Court, Modern Woodmen Park, and LeClaire Park.
  • Dixon:July 3 fireworks at dusk. Dixon Memorial Park.
  • Bettendorf: The city of Bettendorf is celebrating Independence Day on July 3rd starting with a parade at 10 a.m. It will go from the intersection of 23rd & State Street, you can read through the route by clicking here.
    • Fireworks will start at dusk at Middle Park on Saturday, July 3
  • Buffalo:July 2 & 3 Buffalo Days activities. Fireworks start at Dusk July 3rd.
  • Fort Madison:July 4 at Riverview Park. No motor vehicles, motorcycles, vehicles pulling boats, or any other vehicles will be allowed in the park beginning at 7:30 p.m. Spectators will be able to enjoy the show on Avenue H from 4th to 6th Street.
  • Grand Mound:The city of Grand Mound is hosting its independence day celebration on Sunday, July 4. You can find more info here.
  • Park View:They will hold fireworks around 9:30 p.m. (at dusk) with events leading up to the fireworks. From 5-10 p.m. there will be music by Anytime Entertainment.
